I don't know if you have already seen the movie entitled, Beastly. It is a modern presentation of the very popular Disney animated film, Beauty and the Beast. The movie stars Vanessa Hudgens and some guy whose name I unfortunately forgot. But he was really good in his role as the modern beast. Anyway, I was particularly drawn to his character because I was amazed that he was actually able to come up with some sort of a green roofing system all through his own efforts. He did it to please the woman he loved. While watching the film, it made me think if it was actually possible these days for a guy to do such a thing in the name of love. Anyway, as I was saying earlier, it's really a good film. It teaches you about inner beauty and looking at yourself beyond the physical aspects. Personally, the movie made me realize that how others look at me is not really as important as how I look at myself. I hope that more movies of this kind would be made in the future.

The Smacking Children Debate At It's Best

I do not beleive in smacking a child as there is no need with punishments which are more effective to a growing child.  For example it should be the parents rights to punish a child when they are naughty and if a reasonable manner is used to deal with the bad behaviour, surely the child will learn to give respect due to the good disapline rather than to learn to smack if something goes wrong in the future.  I know it is very hard to control some children but it seems that on programmes I watch, the most effective way to deal with bad behaviour is to let the child sit and think about their actions then ask them if they know what they have done wrong.  If they say they know what they have done wrong, then they have took the punishment correctly and hopefully will not carry the same behaviour out.  If they have not learned by their time out, they should be told to sit there until they know what they have done wrong.

Preparing For a Job Interview Can Be Quite Stressful

Job interviews are scary and almost everyone going through them would feel nervous. Melissa would have her very first job interview tomorrow afternoon and she's very nervous it is quite pitiful actually. Sally and I have been trying to encourage her to tell her that everything will be just fine so long as she knows how to breathe in and breathe out. The company that's going to interview her is one of the biggest outbound telemarketing companies in the area and she has been dreaming of working there since she was still in college. I am not sure if the pay is that grand but I think Melissa is not really after the pay but the fame that comes with working for such a huge name in the industry. I have a few friends working there and they said the work environment is great and the benefits outstanding but the nature of the work itself is stressful and demanding. Every telemarketer has a quota they need to reach by the end of the day and it's a constant struggle.

Have you ever been to Island Park, NY? It is home to my favorite bar, Paddy McGee's. It's right on the water in a marina. Not only is it a great bar with great music, but it's a restaurant as well that serves fresh seafood all night till 3:00 AM. My friends and I have been going to Paddy McGee's for 5 years now, ever since we turned 21. My friend Frank found this bar and since then we have been there at least twice a month when it's opened. Due to its being on the water, the bar closes during the winter. However, when it turns nice in the springtime you can guarantee that Paddy McGee's will be rocking. They always have live bands and the beer mats list all the up-and-coming acts for the week. The bar staff make crazy cocktails that they make up themselves - you won't find similar cocktails anywhere else. Our favorite thing to do is to go there around 7:00 PM and eat dinner. We always split the fresh fried calamari. Afterwards we start drinking outside by the bar. There are so many hot girls who come through the course of the night. You are guaranteed to have a blast!

Some people think they are ugly, but I actually like that look. Mine are black, with white and gray detailing. The bottoms of the Skecher Shape-ups are what make them look so weird to people. The soles are almost in the shape of a rounded wedge. This rounded sole gives you a sense of having spring in your step, and this feeling of being gently propelled forward. They feel different to remind you that you are wearing a piece of exercise equipment as well as a shoe. They make my feet feel so good and I feel more energetic when I wear them. No other shoe I have ever worn has done that. They do give your legs a proper workout, but only if you walk heel toe as advised. These shoes were designed with utility in mind and not fashion sense. You do not wear Skechers Shape-ups to look good; you wear Sketchers Shape-ups to feel good.

At first I thought she was serious because she looked like she was, I mean she's all dressed up and what not. She pretended to listen attentively for about 15 minutes but after that she stood up and went straight to the buffet area. When I told Amy about this she laughed and said Amanda has been doing it for who knows how long. One of the gadgets that Lisa included in her wish list on Amazon is a Jolibook. When I saw this I was surprised and curious so I decided to check it out for myself and found the cutest netbook I have ever seen. The netbook's cover has an animated print on it and it is just adorable. As I read more about it I realized that I too would like to have one but the only problem is the netbook is currently listed as out of stock, what a bummer. Lisa also has this knack for leaving her laptop open and unattended which made me all the more curious. I ended up snooping and found her Remember the Milk account open. She placed one task for tomorrow night which states cancel ebay account. I wonder why she would want to cancel it, is she trying to minimize her expenses? As I tinkered around the site I realized it's very useful and it's free so I made a mental note to create an account of my own once I get to my computer.

There's this song that has been stuck in my head for quite some time now. It's an old one from way back when I was still in high school. It's the ending theme for a Japanese animation series that I used to watch. The song's called Beautiful Alone and though it is in Japanese and I don't understand Japanese the melody of the song is quite beautiful and the voice of the singer is kind of haunting. I was searching for this song earlier on the internet when I got interrupted by Michelle asking if she could take over the computer for just 5 minutes to do a quick search on tamworth jobs uk. Duh! Why can't she use her own computer upstairs? I didn't voice that out of course knowing Michelle I quickly closed out the windows I have opened and logged out so she could use it.
